The HowDoYouLandscape blog is to be refreshed on a regular basis in the calm and distinguished tempo of the landscape itself, that is, only once a week. Erratic entries, that are very welcome, will punctuate this rhythm. The regular contributions will be edited by the staff of the unit Landscape Architecture of the TU Delft Architecture Faculty. The blog will be used to coin new ideas, give sneak previews of PhD researches, publish remarkable photographs, share observations, ask questions, make a note on objets trouvés on Landscape and Landscape Architecture in the broadest sense.

We are delighted to share ideas with you, and even happier if you share our ideas with others, but please link to the original item on this site if you do so.

As scientists we permit ourselves some freedom in citing work of others. We do our best to respect the rights of authors we refer to and make settlements if neccessary. If you find that , in spite of our efforts, we violate your rights, please contact us.

  1. Hi! My name’s Mariana, I’m 20 years old, and I’m in the fourth semester of architecture and urbanism at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil. Thank you for the wonderful content of this blog. I’m writing an article for a work in the discipline History of Art and Architecture, and I would like to know how to reference in my article the content that I found on these website about Thomas Jefferson as a landscape artist.
Note: I’m sorry for my English, I’m still learning. If you have any questions, you can ask me…
